Benjamin Brockman is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). Benjamin has previously worked in residential, community, and clinical settings for both private and non-profit organizations. He has extensive clinical experience working with children, teens, and adults in individual, family, and group settings.
Benjamin has joined our group as a therapist, as well as the Clinical Director of New Perspective Counseling Services. Benjamin speaks Spanish fluently and welcomes individuals and families to communicate in Spanish during counseling sessions if they feel more comfortable doing so.
Benjamin is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and practices DBT-informed treatment. He is one of the practitioners recently selected to participate in an intensive DBT training program through Behavioral Tech, the clinical DBT training organization founded by Dr. Marsha Linehan
