PERSONAL STATEMENT

Are you a queer, BIPOC, or neurodivergent person struggling with relentless self-criticism? It might feel like you can’t stop beating yourself up and feeling like you’re not good enough, no matter how hard you try. This self-doubt can be reinforced by others treating you differently and the systemic oppression which is present in so many aspects of our world today. If you’re ready to escape from a shame spiral, you’ve come to the right place.

I work with motivated and insightful teens and adults both in-person and via telehealth to liberate themselves from self-hatred. My goal is to provide you with an affirming, compassionate, and honest therapeutic space in which you are free to explore and understand where these beliefs stem from. Together, we’ll get to the root cause of your pain and help you develop a kinder and gentler inner voice.

As a young queer person of color, I know what it’s like to be unsure of whether aspects of my identity will be accepted in new spaces. Rest assured, every aspect of what makes you who you are is invited when we share space together. My therapeutic approach is culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and liberation-centered. I incorporate aspects of acceptance and commitment therapy, relational cultural therapy, and attachment theory to help you understand and face your pain with courage and compassion.

If you’re ready to release the burden of the pain you’ve been carrying, I would be honored to lighten your load and walk alongside you in the path towards healing.
