Nathaniel Briggs

Nathaniel W. Briggs, M.A., LPC

PERSONAL STATEMENT

Facing challenges and adversity is a normal part of life, however, you do not have to face these difficulties alone. I work alongside my clients to achieve personal growth and healing in a way that helps improve their lives and feel better. I like to be honest and direct with my clients when they are facing difficult situations.

I offer individual counseling to adolescents, adults, and seniors experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, maladaptive coping, family discord, emotional distress due to chronic medical conditions, and PTSD due to sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. I also offer pre-marital, marital, and couples counseling.

I have experience in counseling with couples who have a history of relationship trauma, including infidelity. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems Therapy. I also focus in the areas of self-identity and boundary setting, both of which I consider vital for wellness.

I enjoy working with people to help create wellness in their lives. I assist them in finding joy, contentment, and peace. If you feel like you need support in your life, I would be honored to create space for you and assist you in feeling like your best self.
