PERSONAL STATEMENT

Children, teens, and emerging adults face a consistent and evolving set of challenges and pressures. Academic challenges, life transitions, family and peer dynamics, and finding one's place in the world are just some of the challenges that individuals face. I believe that every individual has the ability to gain the confidence to stand up to these obstacles and it is my privilege to team up with clients to help them grow and take the next step.

My background in school counseling, special education, teaching, and coaching has equipped me to see the best in every individual and help them to reach their fullest potential. Working extensively with students and young adults, in both educational and athletic settings, has given me a unique perspective to the challenges that teens and young adults face. I also welcome adults as we never stop growing and evolving.

With the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solutions focused therapy, I collaborate with clients to create a safe space to process, reflect, and grow. In this space, worries, negative thought patterns, and anxieties can be comfortably shared and turned into action-oriented steps towards a more holistic and confident individual.

Let’s work together to process and accept the past, enjoy the present, and be equipped and hopeful for the future. It would be an honor to be on your team.
