PERSONAL STATEMENT
Honest and direct communication is the most effective way to assist others in overcoming the barriers that keep them from being who they want to be. I believe you have everything that you need to assess your needs and desires. I will work with you on the issues that are important to you, helping you clarify your insights, and to develop and execute a plan to address the issues important to you. I would be honored to support you in this process.
I have extensive training in DBT and I offer both DBT-adherent and DBT-informed treatments for individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder and emotional regulation issues. I also specialize in working with issues related to divorce, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief/loss, and child/adolescent behavior problems.
I am the Clinical Director as well as co-owner of NPCS. I hold a supervisor license in the state of Texas and I am accepting applicants for supervision of clinical practice in pursuit of a professional counseling license. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. Tengo una amplia experiencia con individuos y familias de habla hispana y si usted lo prefiere las sesiones pueden ser completamente en Español.
