Jack Arbuckle, M.S., LPC

PERSONAL STATEMENT

Being a parent can be incredibly hard—and incredibly rewarding. There are times of joy, of laughter, of watching your child grow into the person they were always meant to be. Those moments are what give life meaning, and yet, sometimes they are interrupted by the struggles and curveballs that life might throw your way. Maybe your child has been bullied, or feels overwhelmed, or maybe they’re struggling to figure out where they fit in a world that feels too big, too loud, and too confusing. That’s where I come in!

It can sometimes be difficult for children to put their feelings and thoughts into words, and that’s exactly why they deserve a style of therapy designed to speak their language. By using Play Therapy techniques, and fostering a gentle, encouraging environment, I can help children explore who they are and assist them in  overcoming the obstacles that life has put in their path—while also providing parents with tools to help support their child through the most difficult moments.

I believe that every child has the ability to thrive, that every family deserves the opportunity to heal, and that every person deserves to have someone in their corner when life gets hard. If you or your child is looking for that kind of support, then you’ve come to the right place! Please feel free to give me a call so we can discuss how I can best support your family in the next step of your healing journey.
